Little Learning Labs was founded by Andrew Frinkle, an award-nominated teacher with experience teaching in both America and overseas. With a young learner of his own, now starting school, he wanted to developed games and activities that were multimodal learning experiences. He wanted to make free products that could be used in a variety of creative ways as tools to learn basic skills for toddlers on up, focusing on preschool skills and kindergarten readiness.

At the heart of each product are the following basic ideas:
  • They are always FREE. (Although, you may find them for sale on other sites where I have shops, and you can show your support for the site by buying them there if you want)
  • They must engage learners in a multimodal approach. You will not find any worksheets or busywork activities here.
  • A strong emphasis on movement, rhythm, art, cooperative learning, or music should be added when possible to each product.
  • Classifying, sorting, ordering, sequencing, and other critical thinking skills should be included when possible.
  • Flexibility - each product should be able to be used a number of ways, with creative suggestions as to how to use them.
  • Products should be fun to use!
  • If possible, show pictures of students or children using the products! Action shots of the products in use are great!
